Oxytetracycline 100 mg/mL Injection
For treatment of organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.
Size: 100 mL & 250 mL vial
Dosage and Administration
24 HOURS DOSAGE REGIMEN - give once daily by injection by the route recommended for the species as per the
dosing table below.
LONG-ACTING DOSAGE REGIMEN (cattle, sheep and pigs only) – give by intramuscular injection in the neck only,
repeat after 2 days, if required.
USE ALL PRODUCT WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF OPENING.
elevet+® Oxytetracycline 100 mg/mL Injection can be administered either at a dose rate according to species of
3-8 mg/kg for a 24 hour duration of activity or 10-20 mg/kg for prolonged duration of activity.
The dose rates for each species are set out in the table below.

Indications
For treatment of organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.
Indiscriminate use of elevet+® Oxytetracycline 100 mg/mL Injection may contribute to the development of
antibiotic resistance.
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in horses during concomitant therapy with corticosteroids.
